Mimic
Written by Raymond Scannell, performed by him at a grand piano, and winner of the Best Male Performance award at Dublin Fringe Festival 2008, this is a dark satire investigating imitation, authenticity and what happens to a nation that forgets its heritage. Julian Neary has a childhood talent for mimicry which proves to be his escape route from the Ireland of the 80s. Years later he returns to a changed country - and what about the change within? Directed and designed by Tom Creed.
