Thérèse Fahy, one of Ireland’s foremost pianists, enjoys an active performing career at home and abroad.  Her regular appearances throughout Europe and the US have met with critical acclaim, as have her numerous broadcasts for both RTÉ and BBC. Thérèse, a Fulbright Alumnus, is supported on tour by the Fulbright Commission of Ireland.

Inter-changes: Irish Piano Music of the 21st Century

A concert tour of the east coast of the US, Therese will perform four recitals, featuring a repertoire of piano music from the Irish contemporary music scene. From the traditional to the avant-garde, the music will be of contrasting styles and moods by Irish composers of varying ages, personalities and philosophies. With introductions to the music by the pianist, this promises to be an exciting concert of piano music from the first decade of the new millennium.
