Katie Holten
Katie Holten (b. 1975) is a visual artist working with drawing, sculpture and installation. In 2003 she represented Ireland at the Venice Biennale. Solo exhibitions include the Hugh Lane, Dublin (2010), Bronx Museum, New York (2009), Nevada Museum of Art, Reno, (2008), and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (2007).

Streams of Consciousness: The Histories, Mythologies, and Ecologies of Water will investigate the nature of water and its relationship to humankind. Water is essential for life and is one of the planet’s most vital natural resources. Streams of Consciousness… will unfold in three parts over the course of one year and will bring together international artists including Olafur Eliasson, Katie Holten, Roni Horn and Zoe Leonard.
