Utilising the least noteworthy of materials such as plastic bags, potato chips, toilet-paper, and packaging, Caroline McCarthy considers what the surface of everyday objects and modes of display reveals about ourselves and our value systems.

Caroline McCarthy presents a solo exhibition of new work at Parker’s Box Gallery, New York.  Included amongst other works will be a site-specific installation constructed from coloured drinking straws and found objects in response to the gallery’s shop-front window.
